Powertrain Protection is the foundation of DMARC coverage. It focuses on the assemblies that are most expensive to rebuild: the engine, transmission, and primary drivetrain components. When a listed part suffers a mechanical breakdown after the waiting period, the claims desk reviews diagnosis, estimates, and maintenance evidence before authorizing a repair path.
This is not a substitute for manufacturer recall work, nor is it a maintenance package by default. It is a mechanical breakdown contract. That distinction matters. Wear items, cosmetic damage, and failures that existed before the contract started remain outside the benefit schedule unless a specific endorsement says otherwise.

Advisors walk through inclusions, exclusions, deductibles, and the documents a workshop must send. You should finish enrollment knowing how a claim starts, who speaks to the technician, and what happens if a part is on backorder.
Authorized work is limited to restoring a covered component to proper working order. Performance upgrades, optional accessories, and unrelated services are billed separately by the workshop. If diagnosis reveals a non-covered cause, we explain that finding in writing so you can decide how to proceed.
